Soft Power Korea vs Japan

essay on Theory in Asian about Soft Power Baylis and Smith (2001) refers to globalization as simply a process of increasing interconnectedness between societies where it is in the rest of the world increasingly have an effect on human society although it apart. This globalization helped open many loopholes for countries to carry out diplomacy. In a globalized world that is driven by technology, countries inevitably compelled to increase non-traditional forms of diplomacy them to improve their international status. This is especially apparent in developing countries to compete globally, to highlight the appeal and appearance (Seri Afenita Pinem, 2016). Diplomacy using Pop culture or popular culture in Japan and South Korea (later, only Korea) is an example of foreign policy approach that is common in Asian International relations, Cool Japan and the Korean Wave is a term similar to the activities undertaken between both countries.

Yan Xuetong

In analytical work, the author will analyze a work of Yan Xuetong (YXT) in Theory Talk # 51: Yan Xuetong. In an essay entitled "Yan Xuetong on Chinese Realism, the Tsinghua School of International Relations, and the Impossibility of Harmony" authors can see more whole position YXT, before this, the author had read the book "Analysis of China's National Interests", book written by YXT in 1998 has become a reference for students of international relations in Indonesia. Now, with this paper, the most interesting is when YXT explained about the Chinese Modern Power with what YXT call the humane authority.

In analytical work, the author will do a stage in four parts as follows, first, what the author know in Theory Talk # 51: Yan Xuetong, secondly, what authors do not know in Theory Talk # 51: Yan Xuetong, a third, fresh idea from Theory Talk # 51: Yan Xuetong, and the last, fourth, unclear what the author fell in Theory Talk # 51: Yan Xuetong

7 minutes Futsal in Moscow (ID & EN)

Taman Ekaterina Agung, Kota Moscow, (Coba Coba)

In the morning or evening, we usually do sports. This afternoon I joined the student from Ghana to exercise Futsal in the park Ekaterina the Great, Moscow.
In Moscow, the same as Jakarta, futsal may be a favorite sport after football. What makes different are in Moscow there are plenty of green open spaces or urban forest. This facility can be used by anyone free of charge, whoever and wherever let’s go to sport.
While waiting for our team to play, we can exercise by running, jogging or using a variety of gymnastic facilities.
in the park Ekaterina the Great also already available Volleyball court, Children's Playground, Skateboard court, Gymnastics facility, or we can relax on a park bench.
Because of this park bench, I came to know there is a general rule the use of indoor soccer field in the city of Moscow. Futsal team will take turns according queues which comes with a 7-minute or ended early when conceding two goals.
If you are lucky there are also events held each month. In the spring and summer, lets came to the Park Ekaterina the Great Ekaterina which is located near the underground Metro Station Dostoyevskaya or underground Metro Station Prospect Mira.

Petualangan Seru di Moscow, 1 May 2016

Bendera Uni Soviet

Perayaan Hari Pekerja Internasional
Perayaan Paskah

1. Mendapatkan Metro Tua
Untuk menuju Ohathi Ryad kami menggunakan Metro Moscow. Kereta Metro Moscow beragam bentuknya, ada metro modern, metro rusia dan metro uni soviet. Semuanya punya nilai plus-minus masing-masing, namun uniknya Hari ini kami mendapatkan Metro Uni Soviet yang klasik. Awal yang baik untuk May Day Istimewa ini.
Kereta Metro TuaTua Keladi

Demo 1 May Nek ??

Terdapat juga panggung dengan tema May Day didepan gerbang utama Mall GUM dan kursi-kursi yang berwarna Putih Biru Merah seperti bendera Rusia untuk perayaan May Day sekaligus 9 May (Victory Day). May Day menjadi Victory Day. Sungguh Niat.
Oke saatnya mengucapkan Selamat Hari Pekerja Internasional Bung !!

a. Great scientists Festival di Plosad Revolusi (Karl Marx monument)

Nantikan kisahnya,,
Terimakasih,,

HSE Website analysis

This time I will check the website of a university in Moscow, Russia, the National Research University HSE. Why should the HSE? Yes, because I was studying at HSE. The website that I mean is https://www.hse.ru/en/, this website is an official website of this campus.

Generally when I open the website, looks an attractive impression. But the website header feels very large so the need to scroll in advance to get images in the headlines. This website has included a logo, favicon, primary colors blue and statements that imply that the HSE is one of the young professional university in Moscow Russia.

  • Content relevance to top tasks for future students;

For future students will certainly look for general info and a list of bachelor and master programs that available. On the main page website HSE, the complicated language of information displayed.
There is a column "About" to declare General Info and there is a column "Education" were less eye-catching for prospective student. Preferably, a special column "General Info" and "Prospective Student" should be provided.
Overall, Content that provided is attractive and easy to understand.
Most interestingly, the HSE website has column "Around HSE" containing posting Facebook, VK, Instagram and other social media. For the prospective student, it will be very interesting.

  •  Writing quality;
Writing quality in the website has been well understood. In https://www.hse.ru/en/news/admission/172573070.html that stating about "HSE Summer University 2016 Is Accepting Applications” will get some advice as follows:
From http://www.polishmywriting.com/ is not finding spelling errors, grammar and style suggestion that are wrong. Style suggestion only appears to recommended avoiding complex expression, such as:

Summer University offers awide selection of courses over two months with students Choosing Reviews their own courses and having individual timetables

into

Summer University offers awide choice of courses over two months with students Choosing Reviews their own courses and having each timetable

http://www.gingersoftware.com/ and http://www.reverso.net/ find spelling errors and grammar errors only in ‘Programmes’ into ‘Programs’ and use of punctuation come.

  • Navigation simplicity
Navigation toolbar in https://www.hse.ru/en/ website has been well designed, that will give simple navigation, fast and organized. Categories topics, search button and the share button are very helpful in further navigation.
Interlink buttons and external links in each articles also facilitates navigation while surfing in the HSE website.

  • Ease of form completion and quality of your email response;
Email response in https://www.hse.ru/en/ website is outstanding if compared to a similar web. Availability column on the right side of the website (Topic, Tags, Community and Address) support to easier these things. Based on range of students and prospective students experience, after sending the email, the responses from the HSE University are very quickly.
  • Effectiveness of the engine;
Incredible, all worked very well

  • Search engine optimization elements;
In calculating with Alexa.com and Similarweb.com, https://www.hse.ru/en just as effective with the best university website in Russia http://www.msu.ru/en/

In the HSE website Alexa rank put in the highest position of the University in Russia and ranks 521 in popularity.

In the HSE website Similarweb.com adjust rank in the category of career and university (in general) so that position 267 in this category and 1037 in popularity.

Website HSE many uses images, make sure all the images in the website is given a name so that search engines can read each image / images on this website. This can be done by adding the following code to the existing image: <img src = "blablaHSE.jpg" alt = "blablaHSE" />

  • Speed and ease of use on mobile.
In connection with the trend of smartphones that increased sharply in recent times. Whatever the activity, people nowadays have a greater tendency to use a smartphone.

HSE website does not have a mobile version, making this the main page of the HSE website is not mobile friendly. From the phone screen is difficult to read the main page, even so, lucky for speed and ease can still be felt.

Having moved from the HSE website's main page, we will feel better display, simple and detail to read make this look more mobile friendly.

Welcome to Russia Pak Joko Widodo and Mas Rio Haryanto, we are proud of you!

In May 2016, media in Russia will boast the name of the country of Indonesia. The reason is in the next month, will be held Russia-ASEAN summit that President Joko Widodo and the Ministers will attend, as well as Russian Grand Prix will be held in Sochi in the presence of Mas Rio Haryanto this land of red bear.

As a student of Indonesia, we recently were able to boast Indonesia in HSE Moscow campus. Two events that we've held on this campus are:
Cultural Café HSE held International Student Office on Friday, December 4, 2015
Indonesian Day organized by students of HSE and Embassy in Indonesia on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

Students from Ghana, Indonesia, China, Nigeria and Uganda took part in this event.
Ratya Permatasari my friend in Asian Studies invite the students to learn more about Indonesia as a meeting point of cultures asia. I invite the students to learn more about batik, sarong and skull cap. Mas Muhammad Isa as well as derived from the Political Analysis and Public Policy introduce Indonesia through food and tourist objects.
Seriously what is in our minds going, "When hearing about Indonesian cultures, people know about Bali, as it's very popular for foreigners, whereas it is but a small part of Indonesia," said one student.

Once arrived at the end of the show, we invite the students to sing along Ayo Mama from Ambon. The students so feel the warmth of Indonesia and Indonesia understand that it is not only the island of Bali.

One week after the Cultural Café, in HSE precisely at the School of Asian Studies Indonesian day we followed the event, a seminar dedicated to the 70 year Anniversary of Indonesian Independence and the 65th anniversary celebration of diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Russia.
This seminar was held simple but the atmosphere is not inferior to the Indonesian Pavilion at International tourism fairs, we did the room decor, clothing and food with the taste of Indonesia who will invite visitors like being in Bali.

One statement that is so impressive is when Ambassador Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun explain the possibility of Indonesia following the BRICS, the Ambassador replied firmly:

"Let's just let the BRICS maintain his relationships and Indonesia have MIKTA (Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey and Australia). There will always be a major force and developing countries. Indonesia will always have an active role in the Regional and Global. "

That's a small part of our story became international students. Thank God I become a citizen of Indonesia, Alhamdulillah given the opportunity to study at HSE Moscow.
Remembering one of the beautiful poem of Imam Shafi'i, please interpret for themselves how their meanings:

"Seeds of gold like normal soil before excavated from the mine.Once processed and mined, so people crowded fight "

We are proud of you Mr. Joko Widodo and Mas Rio Haryanto, hopefully we can follow your steps,
From Russia with Love !!

Sign up just 3 minutes, the largest library in Russia presents the millions of good books!

On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, as the Student of Higher School Of Economics-Moscow now we're off to college, we decided to go visit the Russian State Library, the largest library in Russia and the fifth largest in the world with 44, 4 million numbers of collections.
At the gates of the magnificent building, still plastered the name of V. I. Lenin State Library of the USSR. Yes this name is used since 1925 to 1992 before being converted into the Russian State Library, the library's history and details can be viewed at the Library Official Site and Wikipedia.

Read a good book in the good library could be one of the greatest pleasures in life. That great to read fiction, non-fiction, or science books with heavy and thick form, this article will tell you about our visit to the largest library in Russia with two main themes: a guide to get a library access card and reading guide.

A. Getting a library access card
1. Go to the Registration office
We can not wait to read and go to the library. However, information officer immediately gave the explanation that we should have first access card to enter this building.
Do not repeat our mistakes, if this the first time, you should go to the registration office located at Gate two (Moscow, Vozdvizhenka, 3/5, entrance 2. Tel. +7 (495) 695-57-90).

In that the room you will see such a way as in the Bank. The security guard will ask the purpose and give direction to the next ordinances.

2. Prepare ID, student card, Fill Form and get queue number
All of the registration process is free of charge. For Russians and foreigners, there is no difference in terms and conditions to get a library access card. At that time we only need to carry an ID card (Passport and Visa) as well as student cards of Higher School of Economics.
Fill in the form as an example provided then take a queue number.

3. Taking Photo and Cards
The room is laid out like a Bank. We only need to look at the queue number provided on the main screen, and then we go to the small booth to input data and capture photo. Before 3 minutes, all processes have been completed.
Thank God, we've printed card, the Officer will check first before giving it. After the library access card is functioning properly, just say Spasiba to the Officer.

B. Reading Books at Library
1. Create an agenda for the Library
Plan our agenda and we must use it wisely. If we set the time, we would not feel chased or in a hurry and can avoid confusion. Library access card will be used many times. We will be given a red paper contains the identity and reading agenda.
It’s true, at the library we have reading agenda, that contain lists of books and reading time will be written in this red paper. Do not get lost because this paper is must be returned at the exit gate.

Oia, if your agenda is for exploring, this the secret from us :
• There are three floors in the library
• The first floor consists of an online catalog and a room for periodicals and new books
• Second Floor consists of room receptionis for retrieval and return of books, a reading room no 1, central catalog system and military books
• Three Floor consist of room receptionis for retrieval and return of books, reading room no 2, the photocopy room, room for nonbook publications, museum collections of old book and conference hall.
• Check the details about the library room in http://www.rsl.ru/en/s1/s12/s124177/
Reading Agenda, printed Note of catalog collection and access card

If your agenda is for reading, this is the secret from us:
• It is the largest library in Russia and the fifth largest in the world.
• There are several spaces such as libraries in general, but the books are available to be taken by the officer. We will be asked to printed note of catalogue.
• Books collection are mostly placed inside the central catalog. we just need to print a note of catalogue collection (see details below) and go to the officer for retrieval and return of books.

2. Select a few books.
When we read for pleasure, perhaps we want to choose a fiction or nonfiction book which is a common interest. When we read to do the work, perhaps we want to choose the books, journals and periodicals. There are millions of books like that here.

Use the online catalog that available, such as ATM machines this machine only work with an access card. We just need to type the name of the book, select the length of time reading and submit detailed data, then note of catalogue collection similar with ATM note already done.
Check the details on the online catalog at http://search.rsl.ru/
In a note we will get detailed info about the time and location for take and return of books.

3. Get the book you want.
There are several different ways to get it:
• Show note of catalogue collection and reading agenda
• Getting books in a bookcase or
• Getting books on the second floor or the third floor from Officer

Once we get a book that we wanted. Find a comfortable place to sit, there are a variety of locations can we choose. Make sure there is plenty of light and open the front cover. Starting from the beginning, which is usually the first chapter unless it is part of the introduction, and read every page of the book sequentially until graduation.

Lastly ,,
Return the books that have been read to Officer. So the conclusion is:
"The most unique is in this library is fell as in the Bank in the process of service. No complicated Jump and Squat for looking the books. We only show a paper note of catalogue collection from catalog machines and the officer will get our books."

Oia unfortunately we immediately went back to the Beloved Dormitory 1 HSE Moscow. We forgot to ask how to borrow the library collection, maybe you know about that?? Please additional another info.

Why Study in HSE University Moscow, Russia?

Lets start with question, Why Study in Moscow Russia?

The premier Universities of Russia offer the widest range of educational programs, and many of them are located in Moscow.
The most popular university in Russia, but is especially notable for its strong performance in natural sciences (60th in the world) also for arts and humanities (79th in the world) Lomonosov Moscow State University  or Lomonosov MSU/ MGU for short.
The most prestigious humanities institution in Russia and Russia's most global university, Moscow State Institute of International Relations or MGIMO.

The most leading institute of higher education in the Russian Federation, training highly-qualified specialist in various areas of modern science and technology, perhaps let say in USA is Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Here we have Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) and Bauman Moscow State Technical University
And one of the leading Research Universities in the field of nuclear science and the leader in Russia is National Research, Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute)
The Last, offers a multidisciplinary curriculum with a focus on the social sciences, economic-business, mathematics and computer science National Research University, Higher School of Economics and perhaps Peoples' Friendship University of Russia RUDN.

2. Universities In Moscow Are Truly International
Russia's most global universities have been providing an academic home for than ten thousands international student from around the world, for nearly 60 years and enabling them to flourish as leaders in the private and public sector globally.

All premier universities also have joined the European Universities Association and are signatories to the Bologna accords.

3. Great Social Life Of International Students In Russia
Beyond study, international students in Russia will find themselves drawn to numerous concerts, dances, comedy nights, and events in every imaginable sport. Various student organizations fill the calendar with additional social events. Of course, the premier Universities that located in Moscow as world’s great cities, possess an array of  historical treasures, vibrant culture and dazzling nightlife.

1. It’s a National Research University
The category "national research university" is established by the Government of the Russian Federation for 10 years ago. Its means, A university that have results of estimation of efficiency of realizing the development programs can be deprived of the category "national research university". HSE Moscow is one of them.

2. The HSE in the Global Academic Space.
HSE have more than one hundreds foreign instructors from 25 Countries. As Russia’s largest occupy of students receiving state-funded education. Our classmates is so brilliant, they are study with scholarship, don’t be surprised if your professor publicly humiliates, murder and eat away for your poorly written essays!.
And in academic, more so than this, students’ grades are not based almost exclusively on the ‘final exam’. It’s real that the exams require you to have knowledge of the entire curriculum and are quite demanding, but the system relies mostly on self-learning, and this can pose a challenge for some foreigners - but it’s ideal for most Russians.

3. The HSE in the City and Global Events
Inside campus we have HSE April International Academic Conference. HSE was established as an economics university, and its first faculties primarily trained economists, managers and sociologists. But modern education in the social and economic sciences is interdisciplinary, with the crossroads of different disciplines and sciences.
Nobel laureates, Honorary guests, professors and professionals take parts in this HSE April International Academic Conference. In this year, 2016 one of Indonesian professor, Prof, Mulyana from communication, Universitas Padjajaran take part in this program.

After that, HSE is not only an educational and academic campus; it is a source of new and bright ideas, as well as projects that establish a city’s social and cultural space.
The HSE are open to anyone. We call it, HSE Lectorium – The University’s best instructors hold open lectures in economics, sociology, history, philosophy, literature, psychology and engineering at various locations in the city – at Gorky Park in the summer and in Moscow museums during the winter.
We also have Short-term programs: Preparatory Year, Summer University, and Semester in Moscow, summer schools or winter school for all students around the world.
For ending,, One of the books of Andrea Hirata, I quote, "If you survive in Russia you will be able to survive in any country."
